Motivational Speaking

Chris is an accomplished and passionate speaker, having given numerous talks and seminars on motivation, customer are and management throughout the UK and Germany during his entrepreneurial career.

His own story is one of simple human endeavor : from humble beginnings as a tennis coach teaching on a  court in the  back garden of a private house , overcoming enormous challenges and setbacks to owning a successful leisure club employing 150 people, which was voted “Outstanding UK Leisure Club” and winner of Outstanding Management category.

It reveals commitment, dogged determination and perseverance to succeed against the odds.

Chris’s particular passion is Management and Customer Care. “I’ve always related to Brian Tracy’s wonderful definition of management, which is to elicit, persuade, coerce or (if you have to) force extraordinary performances out of people, so they think they’ve done it themselves.”

Throughout his business life, Chris has always sought to develop self-directed work groups within his own companies.  “It engages your team like nothing else and gives you the opportunity to recognise and thank them for their individual contribution.”
 
As  Howard Shultz, the CEO of Starbucks, said: “You can hardly expect your staff to exceed the expectations of the customer if you do not exceed their expectations of how they should be managed.”

Chris’s Christian faith has been central to his business and personal life for many years. “I’ve had many experiences and responses to prayer which can’t be put down to coincidence,” he stresses.  Chris can tailor his talks to exclude or include references to his faith, as clients’ request.
